AGREEMENT TO TERMS OF USE
Claire Uto, “Claire Uto Artist” operates a platform for the sale of art (also referred to as “product”) at claireutoartist.bigcartel.com (also referred to as the website) with the artist acting as the seller and contracting party. The business relationship between artist and buyer shall be governed by the following terms and conditions as amended when the order is placed. Deviating from the terms and conditions shall not be applicable. These terms and conditions shall form an integral part of each contract concluded with the artist, with the placement of the order, the buyer agrees with these terms and conditions and accepts to be bound by them.
PRIVACY
With the placement of an order, the buyer agrees that the artist will use the buyers name, address, phone number and email address as well as previous orders to process the relevant order and to send Newsletters electronically and/or by mail. This data will be disclosed to third parties only to the extent necessary for the processing of the order, i.e., to the forwarding agent, the carrier, or the postal service. The buyer may revoke its consent at any time by sending an email notice to [email protected]
PRODUCTS
Products will be produced after the placement of and according to the order of the Buyer. With the placement of the order, the buyer acknowledges that the quality of the product depends on materials specified on the website and that due to the production and printing methods, minor variations in colour, format and in the quality of materials used may occur compared to the samples displayed on the website. With the placement of an order, the Buyer also acknowledges that the product will also be subject to product-specific and natural changes (e.g. bleaching) which may be accelerated by environmental impacts and inappropriate storage and/or care. These minor variations and/or changes do not affect the fact that the product is consistent with this contract and especially, do not render them defective.
CONCLUSION OF CONTRACT AND DELIVERY
The presentation of products on this website or elsewhere shall not constitute an offer for sale but shall deem an invitation to the buyer to submit a purchase offer. The Artist does not warrant that the products presented are ready for delivery at any time. The buyer will receive confirmation of receipt of the order. Orders are executed within four weeks after their receipt. Any information about specific delivery periods given in a particular case shall always be non-binding and delays due to difficultly in delivery cannot be ruled out. Should the Artist not be able to execute an order within 6 weeks, due to products not being available or should the Artist not accept for any reason, the Artist will promptly give notice to the buyer and will refund any payments made by that buyer.
PRICES
All prices on this website are listed in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS (AUD). Unless otherwise stated. Prices indicated for the products are works, including packaging prices, shipping fees not included.
PAYMENT
Your privacy matters, which is why the store uses Stripe and PayPal for the payment process, which adds a layer of security when you enter your information at the checkout, and you make transactions with us.
Shipping fees are not included in the product pricing.
SHIPPING
Orders are shipped once a week via Australia Post and should be delivered within 5+ business days for Domestic, 2+ days Express and 7+ days for International.
You should receive an email with tracking information with your confirmation/invoice, if not please email us and we’ll send it through to you.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
ALL DIGITAL ARTWORK SALES ARE FINAL.
For any issues or change of heart, email us within 14 days of receiving your item to request a refund or exchange. If a package arrives damaged, please include photos with your email.
Commissions and custom work may be returned but 50% of payment will be kept covering costs and time.
Shipping fees are not covered in return unless the return is due to a defect, in which that case, it’s on the house.
